2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona Live Stream TV Schedule, Tickets, Lineup and How to watch

The Rolex 24 at Daytona, North America’s premier sports car event, takes place in the new motorsport stadium at Daytona International Speedway.

The demanding 24-hour sports car race will serve as the kick-off event to the 2020 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season and gives fans 24 hours to explore, experience and expect the unexpected!

The 2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona is set to get the green flag Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1:40 p.m. ET. This year’s field of 38 cars features four classes —

  • Daytona Prototype international (DPi)
  • Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2)
  • GT Le Mans (GTLM), and
  • GT Daytona (GTD).

It’s the fewest number of cars in the history of the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Last year insight:

  • It was the shortest in Rolex 24 history
  • Due to rain, the event was shortened to just 593 laps
  • No. 10 Wayne Taylor Cadillac DPi team have claimed victory
  • They’ll get another push from the Team Penske Acuras, and if Mazda Team Joest can avoid the mechanical issues they had last year, both of its cars will be contenders

Rolex 24 at Daytona 2020: TV schedule

  • NBC and NBCSN will broadcast only 16 1/2 hours of the Rolex 24 at Daytona
  • However, the cable or satellite subscribers will be able to watch all 24 hours of the race on the NBC Sports App
  • The 1st and last 2 hours of the Rolex 24 at Daytona will broadcast on NBC
  • Rest of the network’s coverage being shown on NBCSN
  • There are a few breaks while broadcasting like from (6-11 p.m. ET Saturday and 3-6 a.m. ET Sunday) and during this the race will only be available via NBC Sports App or NBCSports.com
