Coronavirus Louisiana Live : Cases, Updates & Map

As per the WHO, CDC, NHC, AND DINGXIANGYUAN, VIA JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY the total no. of confirmed cases on Louisiana is 51 presumptive positive tests with 142 tests having been completed by the Louisiana Department of Health.

It is unclear whether the cases were removed because the patients have recovered or if they were moved to another parish for treatment.

  We are able to move to alternative delivery methods because we have in place a comprehensive plan and the technological infrastructure to ensure continuity of instruction. By offering courses through Moodle and other means, we’re attempting to minimize large gatherings and reduce the time students and faculty spend in close proximity to each other.
  These actions follow recommendations of the Louisiana Office of Public Health and other health organizations on how to limit the potential spread of COVID-19.
  Changing to remote course delivery does not affect University operations. Campus remains open and all business functions and services will continue. All employees should report to work as usual.
