Mark Ruffalo Slams Ellen DeGeneres’ Comments About George W. Bush

Talk Show host Ellen DeGeneres, 61-years old, was shot down by Mark Ruffalo as she claims Bush deserves Kindness. Ellen and her wife Portia accepted the invitation by Charlotte, daughter of Jerry Jones’, for attending Dallas Cowboys Football Game, on Oct. 6.

There she ended being photographed with former President George W. Bush, 73-years. It did many upset fans how and LBGT activists found former conservative President so friendly. Down shot by fans, she did a monologue on her show the following day, calling on everyone to be unconditionally kind to each other.

Though, the Avengers star, on Oct. 9, did not find her message very pleasing. Mark Ruffalo tweeted, “Sorry, until George W. Bush is brought to justice for the crimes of the Iraq War, (including American-lead torture, Iraqi deaths & displacements, and the deep scars – emotional & otherwise – inflicted on our military that served his folly), we can’t even begin to talk about kindness.”

He got applauds from his fans for his genuine, outspoken nature. One user named Sushi tweeted, “I love how Mark Ruffalo is in one of the biggest movie franchises, but he’s not afraid to support Palestine and call out Bush for his war crimes in Iraq, etc.”

In the monologue, Ellen has described, “When we were invited, I was aware that I was going to be surrounded by people from very different views and beliefs. And I’m not talking about politics. I was rooting for the packers. So, I had to hide my cheese hat in Portia’s purse.” Ellen joked!

Ellen continued, “During the game, they showed a shot of George and me laughing together. People were upset as they thought, why is a gay Hollywood liberal sitting next to a conservative Republican President? A lot of people were mad. And they did what people do when they’re mad, they tweet.

Ellen’s theory of kindness is very different, which Mark disagrees with vehemently. She says, “I’m friends with George Bush. I’m friends with a lot of people who don’t share the same beliefs that I have. We’re all different, and I think that we’ve forgotten that that’s okay that we’re all different. When I say, be kind to one another, I don’t mean the people that think the same way as you do. I mean to be kind to everyone. It doesn’t matter who.”
