RapidCanvas Raises $29 Million to Expand Enterprise AI Deployment

BENGALURU, India, Enterprise artificial intelligence startup RapidCanvas has raised $29 million in a Series B funding round as it looks to help more businesses move AI projects from experimentation into practical deployment.

The round was led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, with participation from Hitachi Ventures and existing investors Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners and Titanium Ventures. The latest investment brings RapidCanvas’ total funding to $52.5 million, according to the company.

The funding comes as businesses increasingly explore AI applications but continue to face challenges turning pilot projects into measurable operational improvements. Many organisations have access to AI models and data, yet lack the engineering resources and implementation expertise required to deploy solutions across complex business environments.

From AI Experiments to Business Applications

RapidCanvas focuses on helping organisations build and deploy AI solutions through a combination of software and specialised engineering support. Its approach is designed to reduce the time and technical effort required to move from an identified business problem to a functioning AI application.

The platform targets enterprise use cases in which companies need to connect data sources, develop models and integrate AI capabilities into existing processes. These requirements can be particularly challenging for businesses operating across multiple systems or working with legacy technology.

For companies evaluating AI investments, the central question is increasingly whether deployments can deliver measurable benefits, such as lower operating costs, improved productivity or better decision making.

RapidCanvas is positioning its services around this implementation gap, where technical development and business integration are often as important as the underlying AI model.

Funding Will Support International Expansion

The company plans to use the new capital to expand its go to market operations and strengthen its network of private equity and advisory partners. It also intends to grow its field AI engineering teams across India, the United States and Brazil.

The expansion could help RapidCanvas reach more organisations through partnerships with advisers and investors that work with multiple businesses. Private equity firms, in particular, have an incentive to identify technology that can improve operational efficiency across their portfolio companies.

However, enterprise AI deployment remains a competitive market. RapidCanvas will need to demonstrate that its solutions deliver reliable results, integrate effectively with existing systems and justify their cost to customers.

What Comes Next

The latest funding round reflects continued investor interest in companies that help enterprises operationalise AI rather than simply develop new models.

RapidCanvas’ next stage will depend on its ability to convert funding into customer growth, expand its partner network and demonstrate repeatable commercial results.

As businesses become more selective about technology spending, providers that can connect AI capabilities to specific business outcomes may have an advantage. The challenge will be delivering those outcomes consistently while competing with major software companies, consulting firms and emerging AI platforms.
