Razer has finally revealed the pricing of its much-anticipated line of laptops…oh sorry, mobile creative workstation Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition. The ‘workstations’ is actually quite impressive and jacked with the latest equipment to power whatever you’d do on it, let it be gaming, animation, working, whatever. The laptops will be available from $1,599 to $3,999
The laptop, top model, comes with a 16GB Quadro RTX 5000 VRAM, 32GB Dual-channel DDR4 2667 MHz RAM to prevent bottlenecking of the graphic card, 1TB of SSD and a 15.6 inch OLED 4K multiple touch screen. You can get all o’ that for a few hundred dollars more than the price of good ol’ GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q. The GPU meant for content creation rather than gaming, Quadro RTX 5000 provides better graphics rendering with apps like Adobe Premiere Pro and 3DS Max compares to its gaming equivalent GeForce RTX 2080. The GeForce, however, cost quite less than Quadro.
Razer says, “Don’t just find inspiration from everywhere, create from anywhere—the Razer Studio Edition laptops are created to be powerful, purposeful, and portable. From photographers and filmmakers to musicians and VFX artists, we’re equipping every kind of creative with a mobile workstation capable of producing work to bring your brilliance to life.”
Blade 15 is a brother to the other 17 laptops. The laptops are a part of NVIDIA’s RTX program and have some top-end laptops, both a VRAM for professional work and a gaming GPU. This time Razer is focusing on stability than speed but still has managed to set a speed benchmark as well. The company says, “NVIDIA GPUs accelerate your work with incredible boosts in performance, completing tasks up to 12x faster. Less time staring at pinwheels of death means bigger workloads, more features, and creating your work faster than ever. Welcome to NVIDIA Studio—and your new, more creative process.”
The laptops in no sense are average or okay, they’re fantastic, and the prices are quite low as well, so for the professionals looking for a computer, this might be your no-brainer.
