BENGALURU, India — Indian artificial intelligence infrastructure startup Simplismart has raised $14 million in Series B funding, attracting investment from Nvidia as demand grows for software that helps businesses run AI models more efficiently. The investment round was led by Dallas Venture Capital, with participation from Nvidia, Accel, Shastra VC, and Micromax. Announced on October 27, 2026, the financing values the company at approximately $100 million, including the new investment, and supports its strategy of improving AI model deployment and computing resource utilization.

Simplismart Focuses on AI Inference Efficiency

As businesses deploy increasingly sophisticated artificial intelligence applications, the cost of operating AI models has become an important concern. AI inference refers to the process of using trained models to generate responses, predictions, and other outputs, often requiring substantial computing resources. Graphics processing units are widely used for these workloads, but their high costs and limited availability can create challenges for companies seeking to scale AI applications.

Simplismart develops software that helps organizations deploy and manage AI models according to their performance, cost, and infrastructure requirements. Its platform is designed to optimize computing resources while maintaining the reliability and responsiveness required for production applications. Rather than focusing exclusively on maximum processing performance, the company aims to help customers balance speed, capacity, and operating expenses.

Funding Supports Expansion of AI Infrastructure Software

Simplismart’s technology can operate through its own platform or within customers’ existing cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The company provides capabilities for model deployment, fine-tuning, performance monitoring, and automated scaling, allowing businesses to manage AI workloads without extensive manual configuration. Its software also enables cloud providers to develop managed AI services using their existing GPU infrastructure.

The startup works with customers including InVideo, HeyGen, Higgsfield, and Ema, supporting applications involving video generation, voice technology, and enterprise AI. Simplismart has reported significant improvements in computing efficiency for certain customers, including reduced GPU serving costs. However, these results reflect specific deployments and should not be interpreted as guaranteed savings for every organization using the platform.

Nvidia Investment Highlights Demand for AI Optimization

Nvidia’s participation is significant because the company is a major supplier of computing hardware used in artificial intelligence systems. As AI adoption expands, organizations are investing heavily in specialized processors while also seeking software that can improve hardware utilization. Technologies that reduce unnecessary computing consumption may help businesses control operating costs and make AI applications more commercially sustainable.

Simplismart reported that its annualized revenue run rate increased fourteenfold over the preceding six months, indicating rapid recent growth. However, an annualized revenue run rate is based on current business activity and should not be confused with audited annual revenue. The company is also exploring opportunities to support sovereign AI inference infrastructure in India, reflecting growing interest in locally controlled computing capabilities.

Indian AI Infrastructure Startups Attract Investor Interest

Simplismart’s funding demonstrates growing investor interest in Indian companies developing the infrastructure required for enterprise AI adoption. While consumer-facing AI applications attract considerable attention, businesses also need reliable tools to deploy, monitor, and optimize models at scale. This creates opportunities for startups developing specialized software that improves the efficiency of existing computing infrastructure.

The company’s future growth will depend on customer adoption, technical performance, and its ability to demonstrate consistent cost advantages in a competitive market. The $14 million investment provides additional resources to expand its products and strengthen relationships with enterprise customers and cloud infrastructure providers. Simplismart’s development highlights the increasing importance of software optimization as organizations seek to make artificial intelligence more accessible and economically viable.
