Tuesday, 16 December 2020 – Trescon’s flagship event World Blockchain Summit (WBS) digitally convoked on 15 December 2020 in the presence of renowned HNIs, Hedge Funds, and Crypto Investors alongside Blockchain experts, influencers from global enterprises to discuss how the post-pandemic world can boom in the global Blockchain and Crypto race.

Highlights of World Blockchain Summit – Global:

The summit kick-started with a fireside chat between eminent speakers Dimitrios Psarrakis and Cal Evans; deliberating on how the state of the Blockchain and Crypto market differs in the European Union and across the world. The concept of the Digital Euro was also briefly discussed upon among other key areas.

CEO of Cardano Foundation and Blockchain industry veteran, Frederick Gregard shed light on why it’s important to bring trust back to banking and capital markets in his keynote. He said, “Banking is all about trust and utility. We are now in a situation of trusting something [that is] not centralized.” 

The event also witnessed a panel discussion revolving around the topic Digital Currencies, DeFi, and what will be the tipping point for cryptocurrency going mainstream according to experts. Rahul Pagidipati – CEO of ZebPay who was among the panelists said, “Invest INR100 every day on Bitcoin and that will massively change your lives in the next 25 years.” Present in the same panel, Crypto influencer – Tony Vays said, “Bitcoin has been the fastest technology being adopted in history; faster than the internet and cell phones.”
