Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) and Worksmart for Events Management signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in continuous effort and initiative to support the development of the ICT sector in the Kingdom through organizing the 11th Edition of the Leading ICT Event in Bahrain, MEET ICT Conference and BITEX Exhibition.

The event is set to be held from the 7th to the 9th of May 2023 at the Gulf Convention Centre, Gulf Hotel with the theme focusing on “Achieving Sustainable Development Through Digital Transformation – for Industries, Businesses, Governments.”

Improving our future readiness requires redirecting capital to sustainable companies, governments incentivizing sustainable activities, and customers preferring sustainable products and services. To meet expectations, companies must align their digital transformation and sustainability goals, and their decisions must be data-driven.

“Since its inception, BTECH vows to its commitment to supporting the small and medium enterprises in the ICT sector by providing a platform to gather and create potential business opportunities through such activities as conferences and exhibitions. Through this MOU, BTECH and Worksmart will be able to continue the efforts in advancing Bahrain’s ICT industry and elevate its status in regional and international markets.” Mr. Tareq Fakhroo, BTECH Chairman said.

“Last year’s edition was a success despite the challenges we faced in the past years. All thanks to the partners, sponsors, and all the people who supported this very important initiative. This collaboration we have with BTECH for the 2023 edition aims to achieve more, thus striving our best to deliver a quality event for the benefit of the ICT industry.” Mr. Ahmed ALHujairy, Group CEO said.

As the event continues to be one of the premier international events in the region, the organizers of the MEET ICT Conference and BITEX Exhibition extend the invitation to everyone who would like to participate and join the event through the available opportunities.

“We look forward to welcoming you all in Bahrain this coming May” Mr. Tareq Fakhroo added.
