How to Sell on Google Cloud Platform?

Google Cloud Platform:

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) was launched in April 7, 2008 and it is written in Ruby, Go, C++, Python and Java. Google Cloud Platform is a web service or cloud computing offered by Google.

As we all know that Google Cloud Platform is a part of Google Cloud, which means that it includes the Google Cloud Platform public cloud infrastructure, as well as the Google Workspace (which was formerly known as the G Suite). Some of the enterprise versions of the Google Workspace are of Android and Chrome OS and the application programming interfaces (APIs) for the machine learning and enterprise mapping services.

Steps to follow to sell on Google Cloud Platform:

There are five steps for you to follow if you want to sell on the Google Cloud Platform. They are:

Step 1: Setting Up

The first thing you need to do is set up your account on Google Cloud Platform. You can get started on this platform for free. Though you need to pay for the registration. You can do the payment through credit card or net banking for the GCP registration.

Step 2: Create a Project

The next thing you need to do is create a project. Creating a project is the most important thing if you are a first-timer at the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). But if you have sold your solutions here before then you can also re-use your previous projects for this step as well. This project will be like a face for your solutions and your business on GCP.

(Note: If you are re-using your previous project then you can skip the next step which is creating a service account.)

Step 3: Create a Service account

After you have created a project, you need to create a service account for you to integrate your solution with Google Cloud, for the project which you are using for your solution. You can use this service account to interact with the Partner APIs and also to get information regarding the users’ purchases. You also need to grant the Pub or Sub Editor role to your service account.

Step 4: Create a Solution

Next step you need to do is to create a solution which you want to sell on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). To create a solution, you need to go to the Google Cloud Marketplace website. Then go to the solution, menu option and select the Partner Portal. Through the Partner Portal you can create your very own solution. If you don’t know how to create a solution then go to the official website of Google Cloud Marketplace to know how to do that.

Step 5: Submit your Solution

After you have a created a solution, submit it to Google Cloud Platform. A team at GCP will review your solution and check all the details regarding the solution. They also check the networking and security of the solution as well. Once they approve the solution, then you can start selling your solution straight away.

These are the five steps you need to follow to sell on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
