At that time, McGrath said that a physical american retiree named Dorian Nakamoto was the person behind Satoshi Nakamoto.

Even McGrath was surprised to Dorian Nakamoto, along with two police witnesses. At the time that the reporter asked about Bitcoin, Dorian noted that it was not involved and could not discuss the matter.

However, shortly after, Dorian told the audience that he felt a victim and that he had misunderstood the questions made by Goodman. Obviously, this dismissed the article published by Goodman and even gender discomfort in the crypto community.

Goodman does not retract on the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto

Despite the fact that Dorian Nakamoto denied multiple times before the media to be Satoshi Nakamoto, Leah McGrath flatly refused to abandon their research.

In this sense, the 25 of August it appeared in Pomp Podcast with Anthony Pompliano, in which he revealed details about their investigation.

So the journalist revealed that, after making public her first delivery, she realized that it was very naive to think that it was a single person.

There is much more, and is not specific only to Dorian, and I think we all knew that. It was not satisfactory to focus only on a person, there are definitely more, and I hope to be able to share that“he said during the conversation.

However, in spite of to have realized that the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, corresponds more to a group, you still believe that Dorian Nakamoto is involved.

So that, with respect to the allegation on the part of Dorian to not have understood the question of the journalist, McGrath pointed out that “he definitely knew that we were talking about that: we had been talking about it for weeks before I visit him physically”.

Also, he said that the evidence points to Dorian is an IP address that matches the neighborhood of Dorian in los Angeles, California.

McGrath explains that, before the launch “there was a file failed with Hal Finney“that led to accidentally Finney posted on a forum the data and there are obtained “an IP address that led us to the same neighborhood in which they live, Dorian, Los Angeles”.
