Wednesday, 28 October 2020: Trescon announced that it will host the virtual edition of World AI Show – Qatar (WAIS) with the support of leading onshore financial and business centre in the region, Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) on 10th November 2020. WAIS is expected to virtually connect over 250 online participants from across the globe including major stakeholders of Qatar’s AI ecosystem.
QFC has succeeded in helping over 900 companies from around the world to set up and operate businesses in Qatar. World AI Show will host Sheikha Alanoud Bint Hamad Al-Thani, Managing Director of Business Development at Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority and Jahongir Burhonov, Vice President, Business Development at Qatar Financial Centre Authority to touch on ‘How emerging technologies are driving the growth of the startup ecosystem in Qatar’. They will be joined by other top speakers at the show such as Dr Ahmed Al-Sulaiti, CEO of Qatar National Broadband Network; Heba Al Masri, Managing Director of Qatar SportsTech and Racha Zarzour, Acting Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Medical Officer at Droobi Health technology, to name a new.
According to Mithun Shetty, CEO of Trescon, World AI Show – Qatar will essentially explore sectors of critical Infrastructure where AI/digital transformation can help the nation boost economic competitiveness with the region’s top AI leaders and the global AI fraternity. “Qatar is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. We are extremely honoured to have the support of Qatar Financial Centre to delivering this global AI conference.” He further stated, “The agenda for World AI Show is explicitly in line with Qatar’s vision of harnessing digital innovation for a sustainable future. The show will be hosted on Vmeets, an advanced virtual events platform which will provide participants to engage with speakers in live Q&A sessions and network with solution providers in virtual exhibition booths, private consultation rooms and private networking rooms.
